Initially, we are re-introducing the Nachfolger ‘brand’, which was established in 1888 in Teplice by Jan Schmidt (some 3 years before the well-known Orion ™ brand was founded) and so it was one of the oldest confectionary. Jan Schmidt specialized in production of luxury confectionery and brought fame to their special candies – roks-drops.The factory was sold to a new owner - Rudolf Holzbauer in the beginning of 20th century. He continued in the confection with a new name – Jan Schmidt, Nachfolger (incomer). In Austria from 1911 the factory was registered as a chocolate confectionary with over 100 employees. The world economic crisis and the occupation by Germans 1938 ceased its production and the ‘taste’ was ‘lost’ thereafter.
The company CPBrands is undertaking the succession and after sixty eight years restores the tradition under significant brand Nachfolger. The chocolate Nachfolger is produced in Moravia from the best quality materials improved with Belgium recipe.
